Wow, this is a big island! The following map section has been optimized for use by you, the visitor. You'll find that even though we do not list every road on the island, (leaving out some residential areas) you do have most highways, roads, streets and paths you need to get out and do some serious exploring. So go for it!

Click on any of the mini-maps or links below to see detailed maps of the various regions of the Big Island.

The Kohala Coast is where the major resorts are located. It's a dry lava desert with many of the best beaches and most famous golf courses.
Alii Drive detail map shows many of the hotel and condominiums located on the Kona Coast as well as the center of much of the activity in Kailua-Kona.
The Kona Coast map will guide you from the Keahole Airport to points north, and through Kona Coffee country to the historic regions to the south.
North Kohala details much of "Paniolo Country" (ranchlands) and the spectacular North Kohala Coast, stretching from Pololu Valley to Waipio Valley.
Hilo & Volcano maps familiarize you with the largest city on the island as well as the most popular destination, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
The Island map provides an overview and fills in the blanks.
Kona Footprints map shows detail on Alii Drive.

Because we're the Beach & Activity Guide, you will notice that we put extra effort in listing the location of most every beach and activity on the island. This feature, exclusive to us, will make it easy to find your activity and even perhaps an otherwise hidden treasure.

You'll find that just about anyone on the Big Island will be happy to offer guidance, and you will probably need it. Addresses are often hard to see or non existent, and road names will all start to look alike (take Hualalai to Holualoa, right on Mamalahoa to Honalo..) Huh?

But don't worry, if you turn right on the higway instead of left, just keep going for about six hours and you'll still be where you're supposed to be! Wear your seat belt and drive carefully.
